Colour Charges
When using Steel Marketplace's spot colours choose from either red, blue, yellow, or green. Spot colours are available for $70.00 each per month. Full process colour (CMYK) is also available. See chart below for full colour rates.

Accepted Formats
Adobe Illustrator AI or EPS (up to version CS2)
- Fonts - Must be embedded, provided or converted to curves.
- Photos - All photos must be embedded, grey scale, and a minimum of 200 dpi.
Adobe Acrobat PDF (up to version 7.0)
- Fonts - must be embedded or converted to curves
- Photos - All photos must be grey scale and a minimum of 200 dpi.
- Distiller Settings - Compression must be set to use 'ZIP' and not 'JPG' compression. Security settings should be set to 'none' and colour mode must always be 'CMYK'.
Quark Xpress (up to version 7.01)
- Fonts - Must be provided
- Photos - All photos must be provided, grey scale, and a minimum of 200 dpi.
Adobe Photoshop PSD or EPS (up to version CS2)
- Fonts - Photoshop fonts become rasterised (bitmap), therefore use a resolution of at least 300 dpi for font clarity after printing.
- Colour Mode - The document must be either 'GREY SCALE' or 'CMYK' modes.
- Layers - Retain layers as 'PSD' format whenever possible.
Other Formats
Other formats not included above may also be used. For these please call for detailed specifications. (Corel Draw 8.0, PageMaster 7.0, etc.)
