Listings for: Folding Machine (Powered and Manual)
A folding machine isn’t necessarily the fastest way to bend metal but for low to medium volume production it can be a very efficient bending process. Multiple setup jobs that normally take many operators to be done on a press brake, can be done with a single operator on a folding machine. On a folding machine the integrated sheet support backgauging system holds the total weight of the part, allowing a single operator to create the part by only holding on the flange. With a folding machine the operator can pick up his material and put it down when completed … in one handling with only one setup!
Manual Folders are generally used for flashing and production applications, such as roofers, restoration companies, and flashing/siding contractors.
These are metal forming machines that give precise, accurate folds to create exact profiles.
